Curodont Recovery
A no-drill way to help your enamel repair itself. Here’s what to expect.
The Full Guide
A gel that works like a scaffold. A special peptide seeps into the enamel's weakened pores and forms a microscopic scaffold there, which then attracts calcium and phosphate minerals from your saliva to rebuild the enamel from within. It's used only on very early "white spot" lesions. Decay so early it hasn't actually formed a hole yet.
Curodont is a no-drill option for stopping a white-spot lesion before it turns into a real cavity, letting your enamel repair itself rather than removing tooth structure. It won't help once a cavity has broken through the enamel surface, which is why catching it early matters.

No special prep needed.
No numbing needed for this procedure.
The tooth surface is cleaned, then a mild etching gel is applied to open the enamel's pores, rinsed off, and air-dried. The Curodont gel is applied directly to the white-spot lesion and left in place for several minutes to work, then set.
No discomfort. Avoid eating, drinking, or rinsing for about 30 minutes to let it fully work.
No real recovery period. You can resume all normal activity the same day. Visible improvement in the white spot typically takes 2–4 weeks, with the enamel continuing to strengthen over the following months. It may fade the spot significantly but won't necessarily erase it completely. Keep your regular check-ups so we can monitor whether it's remineralizing as expected; sometimes a repeat application is recommended.
the spot visibly worsens or becomes sensitive before your next check-up.
