Dr. David Lin is a general dentist and co-founder of Norwalk Dental Group, providing comprehensive dental care with a focus on restorative, surgical, endodontic, implant, and clear aligner therapy. He believes excellent dentistry begins with understanding each patient as an individual and creating treatment plans that balance long-term oral health, function, comfort, and aesthetics.
Dr. Lin earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from New York University College of Dentistry, where he graduated with Honors in Endodontics and Honors in Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU), recognizing his academic achievement and commitment to excellence in dentistry. Since graduating, he has continued to expand his clinical training through advanced education in surgical and implant dentistry at the Koerner Center for Surgical Instructions, 3rd Set Implant Solutions, and Implant Pathways. He has also completed advanced training in Complex Endodontics through CDOCS, completed Molis Coaching for Invisalign and clear aligner therapy, and is currently going through training at the Kois Center to further develop his skills in comprehensive, evidence-based dentistry and full mouth rehabilitation.
Dr. Lin's clinical interests span restorative dentistry, crowns and bridges, root canal therapy, surgical extractions, dental implants, clear aligner therapy, and comprehensive treatment planning. His approach is centered on providing thoughtful, personalized care and helping patients understand their treatment options and how they contribute to long-term oral health.
His approach to dentistry is deeply influenced by his background. Dr. Lin is the first dentist in his family and grew up in a humble, hardworking household. From the age of five, he worked alongside his family in the restaurant industry, an experience that taught him the value of discipline, responsibility, humility, and treating every person with respect. Those experiences continue to shape his philosophy today: every patient deserves the same level of attention, honesty, and care he would want for his own family.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Lin enjoys spending time with his family, continuing his education, and finding new ways to grow both personally and professionally. He remains committed to lifelong learning and to providing patients with thoughtful, high-quality care.
