Dr. May Kim is an orthodontist at Norwalk Dental Group, where she leads orthodontic care as part of a multispecialty team serving Norwalk and Fairfield County. She built her practice on the belief that every patient — from young children to adults — deserves a straighter, healthier smile in a warm, family-friendly environment.
Dr. Kim treats patients of all ages, from early interceptive orthodontics like expanders and habit appliances to comprehensive treatment with traditional braces and clear aligners. Whether it's guiding jaw growth in a growing child or straightening teeth discreetly for an adult, she tailors treatment to each patient's needs and timeline.
Dr. Kim earned her undergraduate degree and Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from New York University, graduating with Honors in Orthodontics. She completed her orthodontic certificate at Montefiore Medical Center, gaining advanced training in both interceptive and comprehensive orthodontic treatment. She is a proud member of the American Association of Orthodontists.
Outside the practice, Dr. Kim is a devoted wife and mother to her daughter, Stella. She enjoys yoga, traveling, and seeking out new adventures — including skydiving in Prague. Family, fitness, and finding joy in new experiences are as much a part of her life as caring for her patients' smiles.
